Well, I'm feeling like complete poo today. I have a really bad cold, sore throat, and generally just run down. I started feeling sick around Friday evening/Saturday morning. Today it's full-blown sick. Ugh.

Easter was nice. John and I went to his grandparents' in Hernando Co. for dinner. It's always fun to visit with them . . they are so cute together and they seem to really enjoy our company. If you celebrated this holiday . . I hope yours was just as nice and relaxing. :)

I finished an item that satisfied three things at once. I knit the Argosy Plain Jane washcloth in preparation for the Argosy Wrap I intend to make sometime in the near future. As I cast on, I realized that I needed something for my Grampy's birthday . . . so the washcloth is his present. After completing a few rows, it dawned on my that my GetStitchy! group is doing an April Showers-along that requires some sort of washing item. So, in one fell swoop I did all three things with one small washcloth . . how great is that?!?!

Also, I've joined up in a swap with my GetStitchy! group for stitch markers. I'm having so much fun making these things . . . I always knew I might have an eye for jewelry making but never pursued it. Now I'm starting to think I should get into this and maybe set up a store front. What do you think? What would you pay for these stitch markers if you saw them on Etsy?

I made a different set for my swap partner that I don't want to show just yet because I want her to be surprised . . just in case she looks up my blog before I get them in the mail to her. I'll post a pic after she receives them.

Other than that . . not much else to report. I think I'm gonna just go and lay down on the couch and watch a movie . . . or maybe re-watch Cookie A. do her Twinkle Toes socks on Knitty Gritty (much love for DVR television). And I'll try not to blow my nose for at least 5 minutes. I'm starting to look like Rudolph!

Cute stitch markers!

Beautiful stitchmarkers! I don't know what you would charge, but I do know that people would buy!
I'm sure by now you are feeling better, I hope so!

OMG- you must feel better soon, because I would love for you to make me a pair of those stitch markers!! Oh pretty please!! Definitely think about Etsy- I think you'd do great if that's a representation of your work- FANTASTIC!! I'll be first in line! :)

Hope you're feeling better, and I am serious about the stitch markers :)

Hi Leslie! I hope you feel better soon. Being sick is the worst, ugh... great job on the dishcloth and the markers! I love the colors you chose for both projects. As soon as I can get a couple of other things out of the way, I'm going to make the Argosy dishcloth, too - in preparation for the Argosy baby blanket.

Thanks for the comment on my blog - I posted a response to your Clapotis question. ;)

Hi there!
Your stitch markers are lovely, and you should pursue jewelry! Get well soon!

Pretty stitch markers! I have no idea how much to charge, because I have not priced the fancy stitch markers. I'm still using the clunky plastic stuff. Sorry you feel like crap. Hope you feel better soon!

Those stitch markers are so pretty...I think price depends on how many you would be selling at one time. Where did you get the beads? Hope you are up for reading group shortly! If not feel better and we will get you next time! Did Cookie's episode repeat? I still missed it, although I taped Scout today.
