here they are!!

As promised, here's a neat shot of the socks I received via my Sockapalooza 4 Pal:

Sockapalooza4_081007

Aren't they just SO perfect?!?!??! I mean, I absolutely LOVE them!! She could not have done better. Thank you so much, Shannon. I have such a lovely gift from you that I will definitely cherish. And thank you again for the tote bag you sent along with the socks. I meant to ask you in my email . . . is the library that is shown on your postcard where you work?

In other news, I was told today that I won the grand prize at Fiber Arts' giveaway for the grand opening of the store. The festivities were last weekend and I had absolutely no hope of winning . . but figured I'd stick my little ballot in the bowl. I am very surprised and super happy with the winnings!! It is a Prism Kit for a stole/shawl. The colors are purple and black . . so I'm immediately thinking it will be a Xmas/Birthday gift for my SiL. I'm sure she'd love it!!

I hope all the Sockapalooza 4 Pals are having the best week opening up their packages and enjoying the socks!! I'll be spending my weekend trying to go over the pattern Shannon wrote up for mine and trying to see if I'd even have an ounce of talent enough to try it out myself. Thanks again, Shannon!!

The socks that Shannon made you are gorgeous! And she designed the pattern too! Wow, you are one lucky girl and you won at Fiber Arts too! Hope to knit and catch-up tomorrow night at B&N.

I'm so glad you like them and that they appear to fit! The toes look terrible - I need to work on that hahaha.

The library on the postcard is at the University of Oxford - I don't work for them. Sadly I work in a business park in an office building surrounded by computers and a few bits of paper, but no books. =(

lucky you.........those are perfect!

Those are awesome! Congrats!

The socks are beautiful!
And the ones that you knit for your pal are gorgeous as well. Have a great weekend, Leslie!

I love the socks! I recognize them because I had admired them on the Sockapalooza blog, too!
