My dad (part 2)

Thank you everyone for sending me your well-wishes for my dad. Unfortunately, he passed away on May 2nd. I was there in the hospital with him and my family.

I have always thought I've gone through some of the worst times I've ever had in my life. Then I saw my dad take his last breath and I realized my "worst times" weren't even close to being that.

I miss him every day and I know I will never be the same.

Knitting took a back seat during all of this time, but just recently I've picked up my needles again to try and get back in the swing. I've also purchased some roving and drop spindles - I've always wanted to learn how to spin. I'll post some pics this weekend for you to all see.

Joan:

I am sorry for your loss, if it helps at all, he has passed to another life. I believe he will be watching over you. Your life will get back to some kind of normalcy. Don't worry that you might forget him, you won't. Remember your times with him and speak of him often.

I'm sorry to hear about your loss, Leslie. It's a terrible thing to have to experience first hand like that, but it does change you and for the better I think. Be strong, it does get easier.
